Giving the Outdoors

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the outdoors. I know. What’s new? Sean is thinking about waking up at 4:30 AM tomorrow to go paddle boarding, shocker. While that statement remains true, reality is I’ve been thinking about how to share my passion for the outdoors with others.

So recently I started posting more images on Instagram after I go out and play. I’ve been making it a point to bring my cameras with me wherever I go in order to capture these experiences. I then usually dig around for the best ones, find some cool hashtags and plaster them all over social media. Some get hundreds of likes and dozens of new followers, other fizzle out and generate very little interest. But I’m still sharing.

The other day I was contacted by a little company called STALYON. Their mission is to provide memorable experiences to children with cancer in hopes of helping keep their spirits high through the journey to recovery. By bringing the adventures to them, in the hospital, through their CAMP or CARD programs, STALYON aims to inspire these kids and give them hope. That’s a pretty powerful thing.

All of this then got me thinking: How can I too help inspire others on my adventures.
